THE ART
Inspired directly by the novel of Anton Tchekhov. A lady is sitting on a bench with her dog, while figuring out her relationship with a certain Dmitri. In this City called S., two lovers enjoy their walk by the sea, while the dog listen to their love language. Handpainted in Genève, Switzerland by Azize Ferizi.
THE DESIGN
Inspired by a tiny village in the alps of Liechtenstein the Silum Nr. 2 comes with a strong rectangle shape. She can be worn open but also closed, which gives her a playful and soft touch. Designed in Liechtenstein, handmade in Switzerland.
THE MATERIAL
This limited edition is made out of vegetable tanned leather from Italy. Vegetable tanned leather never stays the same, as it is photosensitive. The leather will darken over time and develop its own patina. Therefore the wearer will contribute to the art piece herself. The leather has been painted with a special leather colour.
